Regional bank CEO appreciates UW-Green Bay
As CEO of a community bank with more than a billion dollars in assets, Rob Cera oversees 28 financial centers located within a roughly 75-mile radius of Green Bay.
Each time he shuttles between his main office downtown and Door County — where Baylake’s roots extend deep as the former Bank of Sturgeon Bay — his route takes him past UW-Green Bay. He has “nothing but just wonderful memories” of his college experience… Advanced Accounting with Marilyn Sagrillo and business classes with Mike Troyer were favorites. The course Fundamentals of Public Address drilled the value of preparation in making speeches and presentations.
Cera’s banking and finance career previous to Baylake included service as president of the Chicago Region of Associated Bank, president and COO of State Financial Services Corporation (northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin), and senior vice president with Bando McGlocklin Small Business Investment Corporation.
