King’s vision drives TaylorMade
The chief executive of the nation’s largest golf equipment maker, Mark King does business with the world’s elite pros and rubs elbows with big names in the worlds of entertainment, politics and commerce.

King’s celebrity status within the industry derives from making TaylorMade the No. 1 brand on the PGA tour and boosting sales from $300 million to $1 billion annually. He was named golf executive of the year within two years of being named president in 1999, at age 40.
