Attorney achieves first in her field
Ma Manee Moua is waiting to hear about a position with the U.S. Department of Justice as an assistant U.S. attorney while her family settles in from her recent move back from Wisconsin to the Minneapolis area.
She gained plenty of experience as an assistant attorney general with the state of Wisconsin Department of Justice. In fact, she was believed to be the first Hmong American in any state justice department office across the United States. As an assistant attorney general, Moua defended the State of Wisconsin, state agencies and state employees from lawsuits, primarily working in areas of civil rights, medical cases and workers compensation enforcement.
