It's An Interesting Job Because the Biodiversity Center is a sought-after partner with a diverse constituency, some exceptionally interesting project opportunities come up and the GIS Assistants have numerous opportunities to work "outside-the-box". Using professional surveying equipment to set up a procedure for staking out a sample plot in Mahon Woods is one example that comes to mind. Working with the Friends of Toft Point to map the Toft family's favorite spots around their homestead is another.
