The
Career Resource Library offers a wide range of materials
on selecting a career or major, employment projections, job
requirements, salary information, as well as books on resume
writing, interviewing and other job search topics.
Many resources are
available for a one-week check out period for registered
students, faculty and staff.

Information |
If
you are undecided about a major, it's helpful to know what jobs
a major will lead you to. The materials in the Library
provide job/work environment descriptions. The Occupational
Outlook Handbook describes about 250 occupations--covering about
104 million jobs. Also available are occupational briefs and
books specific to many majors or fields of interest as well as
resources about career planning and job search strategies.

Directories and Journals |
Most
Employment Directories are indexed by location and area of
interest. These directories are helpful if you are willing to
relocate or if you just want to find out "what's out
there." This section also includes business journals
as well as the NACE (National Assoc. of Colleges &
Employers) Salary Survey to help graduates anticipate salary
offers for various majors and career fields.
