A foot soldier's sock. The Dining Out script noted the sock was to be new and clean, though I doubt anything could have survived long in that brew.

I got in close to photograph the next step, where the most expendable member of the mess is called forward to sample the grog. Little did I suspect that, due to my imminent retirement, I was about to be nominated as the most expendable member!

Let the Punishment Fit the Crime

For his infraction, SSG Mario Franco was "sentenced" to six more years in the 432d.

Nothing Like Understated Good Taste

And boy, Connie McNamara's outfit was nothing like understated quiet good taste!

A getup like this can only rate the wrath of Mister Vice and a trip to the Grog Bowl
