SEOTY 2009
 Brad Fischer was named UW-Green Bay's 5th Student Employee of the Year in a ceremony held in the Phoenix Rooms on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. Brad was one of seven nominees who competed for this award. The awards were presented by Interim Chancellor David Ward and Dean of Students, Sue Keihn.
Brad has been employed as a Building Manager in the University Union for two years and was nominated by Poppy Grant. Poppy stated that "Brad takes his responsibility in the Union very seriously. The University Union is staffed from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Brad always makes sure that someone is there to open and around until closing, many times it being himself. Brad’s quality of work is exceptional, and he is great with our team of students in delegating what needs to be done in a timely manner.”
Brad’s name has been engraved in a plaque that will hang in the Financial Aid & Student Employment Office. Brad’s picture has been placed on the traveling plaque and will be displayed in the University Union for one year. Brad received an engraved clock which serves as a reminder of how much we value the time he has spent giving to UW-Green Bay as a student employee.
