How to Post

Log in to PRO using your username and password in lower case OR request access by clicking the button below the log in area titled, "Request Access to PRO here". Employers may post and edit jobs in Phoenix Recruitment On-Line (PRO) for free. Once you have requested access, your request is pending until reviewed by an administrator. All employers, contacts, and job postings are subject to evaluation by a UWGB administrator. You will receive an email when your account has been activated or your job has been posted. If you have difficulty, please contact the Student Employment Coordinator at studentemployment@uwgb.edu.

To post a job, click on "My Jobs"/"Job List".  Jobs that have been posted for your department/ company will appear.  You may copy a job and repost it by changing the dates and other pertinent information.  You may edit individual areas of the job description by clicking on the "Edit" button for each section.  You may end a job posting by clicking on "Close Job" at the top of the posting.  All new jobs and edits return to pending status until reviewed by an administrator.  Your job will not be visible to you until it has been activated.  Please, do not post it a second time.

If you prefer to have a staff member post your open positions, use the Job Description Form here OR send us your complete job posting via email to studentemployment@uwgb.edu

Off Campus Employers

Please note: As a part of our Job Location and Development Program, we are required by federal regulations to monitor our student placements in off campus positions. By posting your open positions using PRO you are agreeing to provide The Student Employment Office with the following information of any UW-Green Bay student hired: name, start date, wage rate, approximate hours/per week, and the number of weeks the student is expected to work in this fiscal year (July-June). A request is sent via email and follow-up phone calls are made.

On Campus Employers

Hiring a Student
On campus employers may download payroll forms at the Human Resources site.  There is also a checklist designed to aid you in the hiring process. Please contact the Student Employment Coordinator (studentemployment@uwgb.edu) or the Payroll Department (payroll@uwgb.edu) with questions.  International Students are subject to completing additional forms, and will be directed to Human Resources.

Monitoring Federal Work Study Awards
Federal Work Study (FWS) Verification Forms are emailed on a bi-weekly basis to students who have accepted a FWS award. As a supervisor of a Work Study student, you are asked to monitor FWS awards using this tool. Please have your student(s) print or forward this email to you as it will be your only method of obtaining important information regarding your student(s) FWS award.

FWS Verification Forms can be requested of a student during the interview process. This is the best way a supervisor will be able to verify if a potential hire has a FWS award and the amount.

Resume Search in PRO
To search for resumes, click on "Resume Books" and choose the resume book for the current academic year. You may specify criteria to search by - keyword, name, major, interests, experience, Work Study eligibility, etc.  Now click "Search".

Students that have resumes in the system matching your criteria will appear. (If you do not enter criteria, and hit "Search", all students with resumes in the system will appear.) If you click on a particular student's name, you can view the profile, and then the resume. The profile will also indicate if the student was awarded Work Study. You may select several students, and create a packet that will be e-mailed to you. These packets contain the resume only - not the profile information.

You may refer to the PRO Student Employer Guide for further instructions.  (After logging in to PRO, scroll down to Resource Library, and select PRO User Information.)
