About 400 educators and
community members from Northeast Wisconsin attended the Institute’s
Fall Conference in early October.
Patricia Bode, renowned educator, author,
researcher in the area of curriculum reform and multicultural
education and culturally responsive teaching presented "Expect
Achievement: Culture, Identity, and Learning" at the keynote
event. Friday's workshop presentation "Teaching for
Achievement : the role of culture and identity" was attended
by about 150 educators.
