Mission Statement:
The purpose of the Cofrin Library is to support the UW-Green Bay mission of teaching, research, and service and to serve as an intellectual and cultural resource, primarily for the campus, but also for the larger Northeastern Wisconsin community. Quality service will be provided both in person and virtually by an expert staff that is committed to matching library users with the information they need.

The Cofrin Library and its staff strive to nurture lifelong learning and facilitate information literacy by:
- providing equitable, quality service
- acquiring and providing access to well-balanced, authoritative, and scholarly collections in direct support of the campus curricular and research needs
- responding to emerging technologies and changing needs of the campus community and its environment, as well as the University of Wisconsin System
- fostering an environment supportive of the free inquiry and exploration that is central to the educational life of the campus and a democratic society
- connecting to the campus and local communities to provide instruction, learning, and mutually beneficial partnerships
