Reference & Instructional Services
The Reference & Instructional Services Department plays an active role in the intellectual life of the campus by facilitating the research process. Because we believe in the importance of developing critical thinking skills and mastering the research process as integral parts of the educational experience, the staff do not undertake subject research on the behalf of users.

Did you know...
- that we are a State Data Center affiliate? The nationwide network of State Data centers provide census data, training, and technical support. As an affiliate we assist both campus and community users in identifying and obtaining census data.
- that we are a selective depository for U.S. federal government publications and a regional depository for State of Wisconsin government publications? Depository collections and assistance using them are freely available to all.
