Summer Aerospace Internship

This opportunity provides participants with valuable hands-on 10-week aerospace industry work experience.  Past interns have assisted in the highly confidential assembly of an R&D first fuel cell power module for the S-80 (UTC Power), assisted in an engineering process quality review (UTC Power), developed an interdivisonal web-based communication system (UTC Research), redeveloped software for Engineering Process Transformation Group (Sikorsky), integrated management system engineering technical reviews database development and testing against customer requirements and DoD guildelines (Sikorsky), and performed analysis of components, preliminary and detailed design of hardware, provided manufacturing, program management and marketing support (Pratt & Whitney).  This summer, interns will continue to have an opportunity to network with aerospace leaders, present the resulets of their work to aerospace professionals, network with peers from other states' Space Grant Consortia, while enjoying weekends to investigate Connecticut's many exciting offerings for young professionals.
