Concert Dress

Women

1. Black dress to be made or purchased
2. Black nylons (NOT tan or nude)
3. Pearl necklace provided by ACDA

If you are a new choir member this semester, you will be required to purchase a dress this semester. Often there are dresses available from previous choir members that can be altered. Prices for used dresses vary depending on the person selling the dress, but usually run about $50 without alterations. You can also have a new dress made by Mrs. Susan Lindgren. To have a new dress made usually costs about $85. We understand that these costs are significant, so please plan ahead, as you will be contacted early in the semester.

Men

1. Black tux
2. White tux shirt
3. Black tie
4. Black shoes and socks

The choir has a limited number of yucky old tuxes that you may be able to borrow. You would still be responsible for the shirt, tie, shoes and socks though. However, we encourage that you purchase your own tux. This can often be done VERY affordably at DuBois Formal Wear, which frequently sells used tuxes for very reasonable prices. Again, we understand that this can be a substantial cost, so plan ahead.

**If you have a problem meeting concert attire requirements, please talk to Dr. Witwer immediately.
