Sectionals & Octets You will be assigned to both a sectional and an octet. These will not be taking place simultaneously. Sectionals will meet for several weeks prior to octet meetings. Please keep in mind that sectional time is the time to pound out parts and become very independent and secure with your notes. By the time octets meet, there is no one to hide behind and you will be tested in octets during regularly scheduled choir rehearsals. Your section leader and octet leader will do their best to accommodate the schedules of everyone. In the event that your schedule changes, or you are having an unreasonably difficult time attending either your sectional or octet, please contact your leader. If the problem cannot be resolved, see Dr. Witwer as soon as possible. Remember, attendance to both of these groups is mandatory and will affect your grade.
