How to apply
All of the items listed must be received by the admissions deadlines below in order for you to be considered for admission as an international student.

Deadlines for submission of application materials:
    Fall Admission (beginning in September)
    June 1 of same year

    Spring Admission (beginning in January)
    November 1 of previous year

Please note that your application will be considered incomplete and will not be evaluated until we have all required documents. All submitted items become property of UW-Green Bay and cannot be returned or forwarded. Due to student health insurance policy, you must be 18 years old by the time you arrive at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay to be eligible for admission. Send all documentation to:

  • Completed and signed application form: APPLY HERE

  • Non-refundable application fee of $44*
    • A bank draft or international money order in U.S. dollars is acceptable. Credit cards can only be used for online applications and only at the time of transmission.
    • *Because of the high cost of postage, we will not notify you by mail of missing application materials until we receive your application fee.

  • Official records from secondary school, colleges and universities attended (in the original language and in English translation) showing courses taken and grades received each year.
    • Students from non-English speaking countries must also submit officially translated English translations. Copies will only be accepted if these documents contain the official seal and an original ink signature of an appropriate official of your institution. Personal photocopies (black and white) cannot be accepted. Official transcripts from an educational institution in the United States must be sent by the issuing institution directly to the UW-Green Bay Office of Admissions. Facsimile transcripts (faxed) are not accepted as official.

  • Certification of degrees and dates granted.
    • This may be in the form of a diploma or notation found on the transcripts.

  • English proficiency
    • Official TOEFL scores may be submitted with the following required scores:
      • 500 (paper-based)
      • 173 (computer-based)
      • 61 (iBT)
    • Other evidence of English proficiency may be submitted in lieu of a TOEFL score.

  • Completed Financial Support Statement

  • Original bank statement in U.S. dollars from your sponsor’s bank and all other supporting documentation of financial resources sufficient for one full academic year of study.
    • The bank statement must be on original and official bank letterhead.
    • Photocopies cannot be accepted as official.

  • If currently in the U.S., Completed Transfer Clearance Form (and copy of your current I-20 if applicable)
