Espanol What strategies have you used to get comfortable? Ashley - I think one of the best things I have done to get comfortable with the campus environment was getting involved. I am employed at the University Union, participate in Habitat for Humanity, volunteer for Big Brothers and Sisters, and am an RA in one of the resident halls here on campus. All of these activities have really helped me become familiar with not only the campus, but the community as well. Through these organizations, I have met and become friends with so many people. I enjoy being involved because I really feel a part of something and have a sense of accomplishment. What are you looking forward to in your UWGB experience? Ashley - I am looking for not only a high quality education, but the opportunity to explore the many career and extracurricular options available to me as a college student. I want to get involved on campus and contribute to UWGB's progress. In addition, I want to do well in school and work hard so that I am not only prepared, but qualified, to enter my field. At the same time, however, I want to have fun, make friends, and create memories that will last my entire lifetime. |
