Welcome to L. G. Wood Hall!
Named after L. G. Wood who was instrumental in the founding
of UW-Green Bay. The architects provided many comfortable "nooks and crannies" that
students use for quiet study and relaxation.
Laboratories for physiology and nursing are here. The human psychology lab and
small rooms clustered on its periphery are used for psychology classes
and student research projects. The environmental physiology lab supports
faculty research on human body responses to temperature stresses, particularly
cold. Students often gain practical experiences by participating in such
research.
Psychology, Education, and Business Administration offices, project rooms, classrooms,
and faculty offices are on this floor. Also located here is the Office
of Outreach and Extension and the Institute
for Learning Partnership.
