Certificate in Entrepreneurship

How would a Certificate in Entrepreneurship benefit me?

Entrepreneurship students will learn from a select team of faculty members and business leaders distinguished by their ability to teach, model, and inspire the entrepreneurial process. This certificate offers critical skill learning in the entrepreneurial approach to acquiring and managing resources, understanding of the planning process, opportunities to network with successful entrepreneurs and business leaders, and participation in experiential learning opportunities.

Entrepreneurship, lower-level (6 credits)

  • BUS ADM 202: Business and Its Environment
  • ECON 203: Microeconomic Analysis

Entrepreneurship, upper-level (12 credits)

  • BUS ADM 391: Introduction to Entrepreneurship and Innovation, 3 credits
  • BUS ADM 392: Qualitative Methods in Entrepreneurship, 3 credits
  • BUS ADM 393: Quantitative Methods in Entrepreneurship, 3 credits
  • BUS ADM 394: Becoming an Entrepreneur, 3 credits

 

Certificate in Emergency Management

How would a certificate in Emergency Management benefit me?

There is a nationwide effort within the Emergency Management industry today toward requiring bachelor’s degrees for professionals working in the field. This translates into more jobs in the future requiring advanced knowledge, critical thinking skills, and academic preparation – in short, a college degree. A degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with this Area of Emphasis will give you the edge you need to compete and succeed.

Required Courses

Students interested in earning the optional UW-Green Bay Certificate in Emergency Management are required to take all FIVE courses.
