Registration
Course
registration at UW-Green Bay is conducted completely online through the Student
Information System (SIS). The Student Information System can be accessed from
any computer with an internet connection, either on-campus or off-campus.
Students can access SIS to register for courses, add or drop courses, view
class schedules, view academic summaries, view grades, request transcripts,
and benefit from many other helpful services.
Registration Steps
- Know your LOG IN and password. New and reentry students will receive
their LOG IN and password to their SIS account by mail. Instructions
for Logging On
- Check your SIS account for your Priority registration day. You can register
on or after your designated registration day. Registration is available
all hours, all day – EXCEPT between midnight – 2 a.m. (due to
nightly system maintenance). Instructions
for Registration
- You can register for classes anywhere you have access to the Internet.
Each course is assigned a unique 5-digit course number that you will need
to register for that particular course; these 5-digit numbers can be found
in the course timetables (see Course Information)
- Check and follow-up on any service indicators (Holds) that may prevent
you from registering.
- Review the Student
Information System homepage for the most current class information.
- Check requisites (prerequisites). You will not be able to register for
a class unless you meet the requisite exactly.
- Have alternate classes ready in case your classes are closed.
