Hi there! My name is Lynn Brandt and I am an Academic Advisor for the Adult Degree Program. I am responsible for advising students from the time they enter the program until they graduate. I love what I do and am very passionate about guiding students on their educational journey. The best part of my role is getting to build relationships with my students. I really enjoy getting to know each student on a personal level. I think it is extremely important to form a solid foundation of trust from the very beginning and, of course, have fun along the way!
I started my educational journey at UW-Green Bay in the Adult Degree Program. I graduated in spring 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. I think my experiences with the ADP give me an invaluable insight into what it takes to be successful as an adult student. After graduation from UWGB, I knew I wasn’t finished yet, so I continued my education at UW Oshkosh and received my Masters of Science in Counselor Education in spring 2004. I was fortunate enough to be able to work at UW Oshkosh in the Center for New Learning for the past five years. Over those years, I have spent many hours helping adult students find their way on their educational journey. I am very excited to be part of the awesome team in the Adult Degree Program at UWGB. I feel like I have come back home and am looking forward to working with students in this program.
