Hello! My name is Forrest Brooks and I am an Academic Adviser and Lecturer in First Nation Studies. This is my second year here in the Adult Degree Program, and I enjoy meeting and working with diverse faculty and students.

I am a member of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin and spent 17 years working in several areas. I went back to school in 2001 and received my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2003. I have been in the Education field for the last 19 years. I worked with GED students at the Oneida Career Center and as a J'OM director before I became a teacher at Oneida Nation High School. I then worked on Oneida language curriculum for several years before pursuing work at UWGB. I work with students of all ethnic backgrounds, and I look forward to meeting new students as they continue their educational journey.
