Hello from Trudy M Jacobson!

I have been working at UW-Green Bay for close to 26 years in various positions (including teaching freshman composition), but my favorite position has been my current one:  Adviser in the Adult Degree Program.  As a first generation college student, I always felt that earning my bachelor’s degree opened a wider world to me.  And that’s the gift I enjoy assisting working adult students to bestow upon themselves!

I have earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Action with an option in Literature and Language from UW-Green Bay and a Master of Arts in English with a specialty in Rhetoric and Composition from UW- Milwaukee.

My main responsibility in the Adult Degree Program is to act as an adviser to new and current Adult Degree students and provide office coverage on most Saturdays that classes are held.
