UW-Green Bay's Adult Degree Program
Our major in Interdisciplinary Studies focuses on teaching students to solve problems. We do this by preparation and practice in multiple disciplines and teaching you to understand, analyze, and solve problems from several perspectives and angles.
We intentionally focus on skill development in the areas that employers tell us are in demand now and will be in the future: critical thinking, creativity, and communication.
You will earn a nationally-recognized and affordable University of Wisconsin degree, advance personally and professionally, and do so in the most flexible and affordable way possible.
The following three affordable degree options are available:
You can earn any of these degrees fully online, although you do have the option to take courses on campus too. In addition to these three majors, students in the Adult Degree Program have the option of pursuing any of the minors that UWGB has to offer. Although some minors (e.g., Business Administration, Human Development) can be completed entirely through our program in nontraditional formats, other minors (e.g., Accounting, English, Psychology) may require enrollment in one or more traditional courses that meet during the week or in the evenings.
The Adult Degree Program offers on-site advising at several Technical Colleges around the state. This is your opportunity to meet with an advisor to help you get started and throughout your educational journey. We also have admission advisors who visit technical colleges and other institutions on a regular basis. Check our event schedule to find out when an advisor will be in your neighborhood. Permanent on-site advising is offered at these locations:
