What's an advisor?

There are many different advisors that you will work with while you are in college. Some will be academic advisors and others will be faculty advisors. Even though these two sound the same they can offer you very different assistance.
- Academic advisors primarily work with undecided and exploring students. These often include but are not limited to freshman and sophomore students.
- Faculty advisors are professors in your major/minor (desired or declared).
