• ACADEMIC PROBATION
What is academic probation?
You are placed on academic probation if you earn a cumulative
grade point average between 1.0 and 1.99.
Will academic probation affect my registration?
During the registration period, you are strongly recommended
to register for a maximum of 13 credits in fall or spring
and 6 credits in the summer term. While on probation
you want to select courses that will yield the greatest
potential for success.
What will happen if I am unable to raise my cumulative
GPA above a 2.00 when I am on probation?
If you earn a cumulative GPA between 1.0 and 1.99 for
two consecutive semesters, you will be placed on strict
probation. (Note: Suspension will occur anytime your
cumulative GPA falls below 1.0.)
How can I check my current academic status?
Check your degree progress report on the Student Information
System. When you sign in on SIS, click Academics and
then View Degree Progress Report. Your academic standing
will be displayed below your last semester courses.

good standing?
