Transfer Student Orientation

  • WHAT?
    Transfer Student Orientation
  • WHEN?
    Wednesday, January 16, 2013
    Check-in 8:30-9:00am
    Program begins at 9:00am
    *The program will conclude by 12:30, so you will have the afternoon to take care of other university business.

    University Union
    Phoenix B
    Directions and campus maps
  • WHY?
    The program will give you a chance to:
    • Become more familiar with the campus
    • Meet other transfer students
    • Learn about campus email and technology
    • Get your University ID ($7.50 cash or check)
      Please be aware, there may be a wait to receive your ID on the day of orientation. If you are living on campus, you will need your ID before move-in. If you are not living on campus, you can choose to wait until the first week of classes to purchase an ID card. Also, you can purchase your ID anytime after being accepted to the university. University ID Services is open Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and closed on legal holidays.
    • Buy your books
    • Talk with staff members and current students
    • Learn about a variety of student services on campus
    • Take a tour of campus
    • Purchase a parking permit
      ($47/semester or $94/academic year cash or check. You will need your license plate number.)
    • Food will be provided!
