The Green Bay Way:
The Impact of National Recognition in Collegiate Sports at UW-Green Bay
Next in our series is a must-see with Jeanne Stangel, our own Director of Development. Jeanne will speak from her experience as former Associate Director of UW-Green Bay Athletics to provide a broad overview of intercollegiate sports and the impact a nationally successful team can have on a university's athletic program, campus and surrounding community. Jeanne will speak specifically about the assessment of UW-Green Bay women's basketball, which she describes as, "a Cinderella story that is rich in tradition and has brought national notoriety to UWGB and the Green Bay community." The journey Jeanne takes us on will deliver historical facts, a print and social media impact analysis and financial results generated from the team's success.
This story is one real life example that is representative of our new institutional branding theme of 360 degrees of learning. See how the unique student experience at UWGB comes "full circle" on our campus. Coincidentally, UW-Green Bay will be launching the announcement of this new branding initiative the very next day on Nov. 14 — get a sneak preview!
This event promises to be an evening of fun, interactive participation and opportunities to win prizes! All attendees will be entered for a chance to win four free game tickets to a UWGB Women's Basketball game this season. Three lucky winners will be drawn at the conclusion of the program.
