Cheryl Grosso, a UW-Green Bay alumna and faculty member since 1985, was awarded the honorable Frankenthal Professorship in 2005 and the Founders Award for Excellence in Scholarship.
In addition to teaching percussion, new music, hand drumming, aural skills, and world music, Prof. Grosso remains active as a percussion soloist, chamber musician, composer, and clinician. She has performed live on Wisconsin Public Radio and is a founding member of the innovative percussion quartet Olio.
