Meet the AIC Staff

Mai J. Lo Lee, Interim Diversity Director


My name is Mai J. Lo Lee and I am Interim Diversity Director of the American Intercultural Center (AIC). My goal is to help create an inclusive environment within the AIC and on the UW-Green Bay campus. I am also here to provide support for our underrepresented populations at UW-Green Bay.

There is no question or concern that is too big or too small – you just need to stop by my office and ask! Together, we will find solutions and ensure success!

In addition, I also advised UW- Green Bay student organizations: Organización Latino Americana, Southeast Asian Student Union and Women of Color. Everyone is welcome, so please come and join the fun!!!

I was raised north of Merrill, Wisconsin but graduated from Wausau East High School. I obtained my Master’s Degree in Education from UW- La Crosse and my Bachelor’s Degree in English and Mass Communication from UW-Eau Claire.

Rosa Serrano, Multicultural Advisor


My name is Rosa Serrano and I work in the American Intercultural Center as a Multicultural adviser at UW-Green Bay. As an adviser I support and guide UW-Green Bay students on number of subjects related to financial aid, registering for classes, time management, grade calculations, multicultural development and any other issues they may face at UW-Green Bay. I also advise two UW-Green Bay student organizations which are Women of Color and Organización Latino Americana. Both are great organizations to become involved in and everyone is welcome to join!

A little about me: I was born in California but raised in Door County, WI since middle school. I graduated from Sevastopol High School then came to UW-Green Bay to obtain my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Spanish & Latin American Studies.

Bao Sengkhammee, Multicultural Advisor


My name is Bao Sengkhammee and I work in the American Intercultural Center as a Multicultural Advisor at UW-Green Bay. I help students with a variety of topics such as leadership and student involvement opportunities, grade calculations, campus involvement, study skills, tutoring, and any other questions and concerns that students may have. Feel free to contact me and we can explore answers to your questions. In addition, my philosophy as a Multicultural Advisor is to engage, empower, inspire, motivate, and assist our diverse student population to graduation.

I was raised in the Green Bay area. I obtained my Master’s Degree in Education Psychology from UW-Milwaukee and my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Urban and Regional Studies from UW-Green Bay. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, watching movies, trying new cultural foods, eating spicy foods, and learning about other cultures.

Loretta Rafter, University Associate


My name is Loretta Rafter and I work at the American Intercultural Center as a University Associate.

I greet students when they come into the AIC and help with their inquiries.

I was born and raised in Chicago. Currently I live in Green Bay with my husband and children.
