Women's Basketball Advances to NCAA Tournament Second Round
This season was one for the record books for the Phoenix women's basketball team. The team made history by being the program's first to advance to the second round of an NCAA Division I tournament. The win, televised nationally on ESPN2, set-up a second round match-up with the third-ranked and No. 1 seeded Bayou Bengals of Louisiana State University.
