Distinguished Alumni Award
This award recognizes UW-Green Bay graduates who have distinguished
themselves in their professional field and are widely recognized
for their career accomplishments. Civic and/or humanitarian activities
for the benefit of others is also taken into consideration. If
you know of a UW-Green Bay alumnus who meets the award's criteria,
please complete the online
nomination form so he or she can be considered for a future
award.
Criteria:
- Has earned either a undergraduate and/or graduate degree
from UW-Green Bay.
- Has not attended UW-Green Bay in the last 10 years.
- Must have a high ranking in his/her profession.
- Must have made contributions to others through civic/humanitarian
activities.
- Distinctive records of achievement with recognition and
reputations, which extend well beyond the immediate environments
in which they live and work.
- The record of distinctive achievement for the candidates
should extend over a substantial period of time to assure continuity
of performance, stability and maturity.
Nomination Process:
- Alumni, friends of the university, faculty/staff, and the
public at large are invited to make nominations.
- Nominations are accepted year round.
- Nominees are notified and asked to submit the following
information for their file:
- Résumé
- Any additional documentation they wish to provide
- Recipients are required to attend the awards ceremony. If
for some reason they are unavailable, they will be recognized
the following year.
- Once all the necessary documents have been received, candidates
remain active for consideration for a period of two years.
- Up to three new awards will be presented each year.
