Dr. Betty J. (McNulty) Amuzu

Dr. Amuzu is an associate professor for the University of Wisconsin Medical School. She has spent the last 16 years at its Milwaukee campus, working out of the Aurora Sinai Medical Center, training students and residents and conducting research while providing care to some of the highest risk OB-Gyn patients in Wisconsin. She has been the medical director of Wisconsin’s largest midwifery practice for 13 years. She has also served as the residency program director, interim chair of the OB-Gyn Department at the Milwaukee campus, and chair of the department research committee. Hospital and systemwide, she has served on committees for Allied Health, cancer, infectious disease, education, public policy, and the Access to Care Sub-Committee, as well as co-chairing the Hospital Obstetrics Quality Management and Improvement Committee. She has also had several peer-reviewed publications, a book chapter, and multiple oral and poster presentations at local and national conferences.
