Christian Akiwowo, a clinical psychologist, founded Alajobi Rehabilitative Services in Chicago in 1994. He is the president and CEO of the organization which is a not for profit welfare and community mental health agency. Akiwowo has also done research in child maltreatment and has created innovative, therapeutic approaches to treating and preventing child abuse. Akiwowo came to UW-Green Bay as an international student from Nigeria and achieved success on campus as a student and as a Phoenix Hall of Fame soccer player.
