Jonathan Larson '71 is president and CEO of Midwest Collegiate Prospects in Green Bay. His degree is in humanism and cultural change.
Marilyn Kemm-Kurtz '72 communication and the arts, is a music and creative dramatics teacher in Elgin, Ill.
Dick Kendall '73 managerial systems, is executive director of the Pulp and Paper Manufacturers Association. An avid bicyclist (for recreation and commuting), he serves on the board for the Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin.
Jean Kyle '73 is the vice president of the business education division of the Association for Career and Technical Education. She is also a business and marketing specialist for the Minnesota Department of Education in Roseville, Minn. Her degree is in humanism and cultural change.
Kirk Harlow '74 and '78 is chair of the health and public administration department at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Tex. His degrees are in analysis synthesis and environmental arts and science.
Kay Nelson '78 is a full professor at Southern Illinois University. She previously held engineering and senior management positions with Procter & Gamble, Green Bay, Apple Computer and NATO. She has been honored as an NSF Career Scholar and outstanding woman in technology. She is married to Jim Nelson, a professor at SIU. Her degree is in communication and the arts.
Jill (Kaiser) Jones '74 communication and the arts, is a self-employed visual artist, creativity coach and writer in Southern California. Her contributed essays and artwork were published in the February 2007 Kaleidoscope: Ideas and Projects to Spark Your Creativity. Jones is writing and illustrating an ongoing column titled "ARTsparks" for ARTitude Zine.
David Pamperin '74 modernization processes, was named the new president and chief executive officer of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation.
Pam (Carriveau) Stoll '74 communication and the arts, was featured in the Green Bay Press-Gazette for her art photography exhibited at the state capitol. In the interview, she said her inspiration comes from the creative instructors at UW-Green Bay who taught her in the 1970s how to blend "ecology into all disciplines, including the arts."
Carla (Burmeister) David '75 is the public and community relations manager at Ministry Health Care/Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Her degree is in communication and the arts.
David Williams '75 humanism and cultural change, is the chapter operations officer for the American Red Cross of Anchorage, Alaska.
Robert Hieronimczak '76, Donald Brungraber '73, Pete Mader '76 and Tom Prust '79 were elected to the boards of directors for Rotary Club of Downtown Green Bay and the Rotary Foundation of Green Bay Inc. for the 2007-2008 club year.
Marty Stanley '77 managerial systems, is president of Dynamic Dialog, Inc., and a professional speaker, facilitator and executive coach. Her book: Get Out of B.E.D. (Blame, Excuses and Denial): Change Your Outlook, Alter Your Outcomes was published in December 2006. She received the 2007 Team Builder Award from the National Association of Women Business Owners and was honored in 2005 as a "Woman who Means Business" by the Kansas City Business Journal.
James Brennan '78 regional analysis, is president of J.C. Brennan & Associates, Inc., a high-quality, custom acoustical consulting services firm in Auburn, Calif.
Valerie (Schano) Lower '78 humanism and cultural change, is the founder and CEO of Sanctuary for Cancer Survivors in Minneapolis and St. Paul, offering free spa services, including hair-loss alternatives and wig styling, to women during cancer treatments. Lower also has a motivational speaking and counseling practice.
Michael Braun '79 nutritional sciences, has taught for 25 years at Madison Area Technical College. Director for the dietetic technician program, he published a chapter on eating disorders in a textbook for the American Dietetic Association.
Jill (Jentink) Lajdziak '79 business administration, has been selected to give the December commencement address at UW-Green Bay. Lajdziak, a native of Brillion, is general manager of the Saturn division for General Motors.
Jay Livingston '79 works for Aurora Health Care in De Pere as a psychotherapist. He majored in human development.
Barth J. Wolf '79 social change and development, has been promoted to vice president, chief legal officer, and secretary of Integrys Energy Group, Green Bay. He had previously served as a legal services manager and secretary of Wisconsin Public Service Corp. and its holding company over a two-decade career with the utility.

Paula Allen '80 and '86 is a landscape ecologist with the Environmental Protection Agency in Las Vegas, Nev. She earned a personal major as an undergraduate and holds a master's in environmental science and policy.
Dan Young '80 of Schenck Business Solutions was appointed to Downtown Green Bay Inc.'s board of directors. His degree is in managerial accounting. Also appointed to the board of directors was managerial systems grad Richard Chernick '74 of Camera Corner Connecting Point.
Glen Tilot '81 is a social worker and volunteer coordinator for Brown County Human Services. His degree is in social work.
Mark Fralick '82 business administration, is the president of ROI Solutions, LLC in Oconomowoc. He also co-founded Software Architects Inc., working with companies like Compaq Service Organization, Panasonic, Delta Faucet, Timex, and Lifetime Hoan to develop supply chain solutions. He has twice been nominated for State Entrepreneur of the Year.
Dianne (Hafeman) Anderson '83 started medical school at UW-Madison this summer in the Academy of Rural Medicine, a program addressing the shortage of rural physicians. She majored in business administration and regional analysis.
Mark Kroll '84 human adaptability, is a physician with the Luxemburg Clinic. He completed continuing medical education requirements to retain membership in the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Jane (Bodilly) Birr '85 and '90 was featured in the May 15 issue of Marketplace Magazine. Her book Just Get Over It: A 12-Week Jump Start to Great Health in Body, Mind and Spirit, motivates readers to pursue a healthy lifestyle. She majored in human adaptability and has a master's in administrative science.
Michael Brennan '85 business administration, is general manager of Brennan Buick, the only Buick dealer in Wisconsin to receive the "The Best in Class" award every year it has been given.
Daniel Olejniczak '85 works in inside sales for Zuern Building Products — a full-line building material supplier — in Watertown. He majored in social change and development and public and environmental administration.
James O'Neil '85 of O'Neil Law Offices was promoted to lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves. His degree is in political science and regional analysis.
Paul Seppel '85 managerial accounting, is executive vice president, CFO and treasurer for Indiana Farmers Mutual Insurance in Indianapolis.
Jon Dartt '86 business administration, is vice president of sales for Delta Faucet Company, Indianapolis.
Maribeth Hetherington '86 nursing, is vice president of inpatient care services for Appleton Medical Center and Theda Clark Medical Center, having been named chief nursing officer of both hospitals.
Connie (Hackl) Meulemans '86 communication and the arts, is the inter-library loan specialist at St. Norbert College.
Michele (Benzschawel) Moiron '88 is an associate division manager with Rotary International in Evanston, Ill. Her degrees are in French and social change and development.
Lori (LaPointe) Skalitzky '88 humanistic studies, is the owner of Lori Skalitzky Photography in Pulaski.
Laura (Busby) Hollingsworth '89 has been named president and publisher of the Des Moines Register. She has been the Register's general manager since 2005 and the newspaper's vice president of advertising from 2002 to 2005. Hollingsworth also worked as an advertising executive at Gannett Co. newspapers in Washington, Illinois and Michigan. She lives in Johnston, Iowa, with her husband and three children. She majored in communication processes.
Joel Sass '89 received the National Freelance Directing Award at the National Theatre Communication Group Conference. The award identifies exceptional directors on a regional basis. His degree is in theatre and communication and the arts.
Kate Sherry '89 is the editor in chief at Queer Life News, Milwaukee. Her degree is in theatre.

Chad Fulwiler '90 was named the director of business development at Leibold Associates, Inc. in Neenah. His degree is in communication and the arts.
Dean Haen '91 manager of The Port of Green Bay, announced the purchase of 12 acres of inland property on Bylsby Avenue from the city of Green Bay. Haen has developed a plan to address environmental issues at the new property. His degree is in environmental policy and planning and environmental sciences.
Marc Jimos '91 and '02, a band instructor at Ashwaubenon High School, played with members of his school's drum corps in back-to-back shows last summer at the Resch Center, Green Bay, with country music star Keith Urban. Jimos majored in communication and the arts and music, and received a master's degree in Applied Leadership for Teaching and Learning.
Jon Syndergaard '91 political science, is CEO of Integrated Community Service of Northeast Wisconsin — a nonprofit organization that assists with bills and helps clients become self-sufficient.
Dean Vander Plas '91 is the new president of Johnson Insurance, north division. He had 15 years of experience and was formerly president of the Phoenix Group in Ripon.
Doug Drake '92 currently serves as the organizing coordinator of District 2 (Wisconsin, Michigan) of the United Steel Workers Union. His degree is in general studies.
Patrick Fuge '92 is the owner of Gnome Games in Ashwaubenon — a friendly but competitive venue for children and adults who like games, collectible cards and board games. The store got some publicity for hosting the 2007 Wisconsin State Pokemon Championships. His degree is in environmental policy and planning.
Barbara Viste-Johnson '92 is director of professional services at Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin, Inc. in Green Bay, a human services agency. Her degrees are in human development and social work.

Kate (Hermann) Markwardt '96 social change and development, is an electronic monitoring program coordinator for Lakeshore Community Action Program, a non-profit agency dedicated to promoting self-sufficiency of low-income people in Door, Kewaunee, Manitowoc and Sheboygan counties.

Prof. Jillian Duquaine-Watson '97 returned to campus last spring as a featured speaker in the Center for History and Social Change Lecture Series. She spoke on "The (Delicate) Balance Between Books and Babies: Single Mothers Pursing Postsecondary Education." She completed her Ph.D. in women's studies at the University of Iowa in 2005 and is now an assistant professor at Texas Women's University. She majored in social change and development.
Eric Gass '97 psychology, is operation manager for the Center for Healthy Communities at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He received a Ph. D. in urban studies from UW-Milwaukee in May 2007. He resides in Milwaukee with wife, Allison, and son, Evan.

Elizabeth Bostwick '05 was the unanimous choice of the University of Oregon School of Architecture and Allied Arts faculty to receive the 2007 Graduate School Award. Faculty members noted that her research topic (environmental sustainability, public art planning and green art) is "timely, interesting, and highly relevant to the mission of the school." She majored in musical theatre with a minor in arts management.
