2011 UW-Green Bay Alumni Directory
The project will begin June 1, 2011.
Over the next couple of months, Publishing Concepts, Inc. (PCI) will be contacting UW-Green Bay alumni via mail, phone and e-mail requesting you to call their toll-free number and update your profile. The project is
legitimate.
UW-Green Bay and the Alumni Association are partnering with PCI because we don’t have the financial and human resources to update our growing alumni base – now nearing 29,000 total graduates. The project is important.
Up-to-date alumni information is important in assembling our upcoming directory as well as establishing benchmarks for the career placement office, applying for government grants and determining our ranking in national evaluations.
The 2011 UW-Green Bay Alumni Directory will be a permanent record of UW-Green Bay alumni, indicating who attended and where alumni are in the world as of 2011. Mailing addresses, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, marriages and unions, children... things are always changing and we want to keep in touch with you. Updating your information will ensure we stay connected.
The project has additional benefits.
You can order a directory and have fast access to UWGB alumni you may have lost touch with, or may want to connect with again. If we have your correct contact information, you will receive the Inside UW-Green Bay Alumni magazine, as well as opportunities to take part in special events, and reap the benefits (travel, insurance, discounts) of being a UWGB alumnus.
The project is not time-consuming.
You will soon receive a postcard or e-mail asking you to update your alumni records by calling a toll-free number. A courteous and knowledgeable representative from PCI will do a quick update and your job is complete!
You will not be asked for a donation.
This is not part of our annual phone-a-thon. You will not be asked for a donation. You can, however, order a directory if you wish from PCI.
