From 4 to 7 p.m., Sunday, August 24, your Alumni Association welcomes you to Trout Springs Winery for an evening of wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres, tours of the winery, and music by members of the Dave Steffen Band. Our students come hungry, leave happy

The Alumni Association is looking for volunteers to help with a Welcome Back Cookout for our students. The event will be held from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 2, outside the Ecumenical Center. It’s a great way to introduce students to the Alumni Association. Healthcare in the Coulee Region at the UW-La Crosse Campus

Health Science Center, 1300 Badger Street, Suite 3065. Learn about cutting edge technology and programs that prepare future healthcare professional in Western Wisconsin. You may have heard that your University is searching for a new chancellor. What’s your take on chancellor qualifications? Of all the attributes expected of a future leader, which ones are most important to you?

National Railroad Museum exhibit is a Kersten idea, with Taylor tie

Prof. Andrew KerstenA new exhibit at the National Railroad Museum spawned from a suggestion by Prof. Andrew Kersten and his history students. Last year, Kersten had his history seminar students help create an educational strategic plan for the museum. While meeting with the museum’s executive director, Kersten suggested an exhibit on the Pullman porters, the men who served passengers on trains. There’s also a historic tie with the family of well-known UW-Green Bay alumnus Steve Taylor. Click for more.
