Transfer Advice for Art Majors
Begin by applying and sending your transcripts to UWGB for credit evaluation. Then see the Art Advisor as soon as possible. Please note that all degree-seeking students at UW-Green Bay must have an interdisciplinary major or minor. Art is a disciplinary major. You will need an interdisciplinary minor. Art majors often select a minor emphasis in Arts and Visual Design (AVD), however you may want to check out other interdisciplinary minors at UWGB. Refer to the links below for program requirements and information.

Declare your Major or Minor in Art with the Art Advisor as soon as possible, before your sophomore year or as soon as you have a complete transfer credit evaluation. Many of the lower-level art courses have a priority registration designation to reserve seats for the declared art major/minor.
Art Majors select one emphasis from:
• STUDIO ART
• ART EDUCATION
• GALLERY/MUSEUM PRACTICES
