  Win A Phoenix Hoodie!
You can win a hooded Phoenix sweatshirt just by playing "The Drinking Game: Got Facts?"

There are two ways to win:
  • Live in the Residence Hall (or for RDH the floor) whose residents earn the highest average number of "The Drinking Game: Got Facts?" points and have a minimum of 20 personal points yourself.

  • Have one of the three highest personal "The Drinking Game: Got facts?" point totals for students living on campus or one of the three highest point totals for students living off campus

  • Please note that although there are two ways to win, only one prize per winner
How do you earn points?

Easily and there are many ways:
  • If you live on campus attend your buildings first building meeting (you’re suppose to anyway and you get 10 points

  • Test your knowledge by using the interactive on-line experience called E-Chug (very cool, anonymous and you earn a whopping 25 points)

  • Take a quick alcohol knowledge quiz for 20 points with a new quiz every two weeks

  • Attend programs that are advertised with The Drinking Game: Got Facts? Logo. (Attending programs will earn 20 points per program)
Each time you earn points it goes toward your personal total and also your building’s total (for RDH your floor’s total)

 
  Contest Rules
  1. The purpose of the Drinking Game: Got Facts? Contest is to, through a contest, encourage students, especially freshman, to learn more about alcohol and drug use and abuse.

  2. For the purposes of this contest eligible Residence Life Building are the Residence Halls listed below. These building are eligible because they have predominantly freshman residents. Roy E. Downham Hall Josephine Lenfestey Hall Ted Lenfestey Hall Donald J. Long, Sr. Hall Robert W. Schaefer Hall James A. Temp Hall Cletus Vanderperren Hall Arlene Walter Hall Byron Walter Hall Robert W. Warren Hall R.E. Small Hall

  3. Because of the large number of students who live in Roy D Downham Hall. Each RDH floor will, for the purposes of this contest, be considered a "Building".

  4. The contest period will be from August 30, 2007 until November 21, 2007 at 4:30 PM, with prizes being awarded on or before December 17, 2007.

  5. Only University of Wisconsin-Green Bay students enrolled for the fall semester of the 2007-2008 academic year are eligible to participate in this contest.

  6. All people participating in the contest agree to be bound to the provision and intent of the contest rules.

  7. During the contest period UW-Green Bay students will be able to earn points by participating in various types of alcohol and other drug related programming.

  8. Students can only receive points once for each activity (for example students can earn the 25 points for doing E-chug only once).

  9. The contest organizers make all decisions concerning how points are earned, tallied and how many points are granted for participation in any particular program.

  10. Students are responsible for submitting their points to the contest organizers in accordance with the directions given during the event or activity for which the student wishes to receive points.

  11. Points earned by students are counted toward their personal point tally and the tally of the Residence Life Building in which they live. Points are non-transferable.

  12. If the contest organizers determine that a student has submitted points for a program that they have not attended or has misrepresented their participation in any way the student will be ineligible to win a contest prize and all the points they had earned during the entire contest will be deducted from their building totals.

  13. The decision of the contest organizers related to possible violation of contest rules is final.

  14. For students who reside in Residence Life the winning residence life building will be the building that has earned the most points per building resident. This number will be determined by dividing the total number of points earned by all the students who live in that building by the total number of students who live in that building. Students living in the winning building (or if RDH on the winning floor) and who have themselves earned a minimum of twenty contest points towards their buildings total are eligible for a prize.

  15. For students who do not reside on campus the three individuals who live off campus and have earned the most contest points during the contest period will also be contest winners and eligible for a prize.

  16. Any ties will be broken by random drawing from among the tied, the drawing will be made by the contest organizers and the results of that drawing are final.

  17. The contest prize to be awarded to each student eligible for a prize will be a hooded sweat shirt selected by the contest organizers.

  18. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited after 30 days.

  19. Contest participants agree to be bound by the decisions made by the contest organizers related to the granting of points and selection of contest winners.

  20. UW-Green Bay and the contest organizers are not responsible for defective prizes.

  21. All prizes are non-transferable and there will be no cash substitution for prizes.
