The Counseling and Health Center provides a range of Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Abuse programs and
services. The Center maintains staff that specializes in screening and assessing individuals with problems
with alcohol, nicotine and other substances. Services are available free of charge to currently enrolled
UW-Green Bay students. Staff is located in the Counseling and Health Center, SS1400.
Services include:

- Alcohol and other Drug Assessments
- Individual Counseling
- Referral Services
EDUCATION PROGRAMS:
The Counseling and Health Center provides several alcohol education programs for students
including:
Insight Insight is a six-hour,
research-based, individualized alcohol education program utilizing
the “PRIME FOR LIFE” curriculum. This curriculum utilizes a harm
reduction model that teaches participants how to estimate their
biological, social and psychological risks for alcohol and/or drug
abuse. The fee is $100.00. Contact: the Dean of Students Office at

AlcoholEDU AlcoholEdu is a
three-hour web based alcohol education program utilizing an
interactive, multimedia format designed to help students learn
practical information they can use to make well-informed decisions
about alcohol as well as cope with the drinking behaviors of peers
and friends. The fee is $100.00. Contact the Dean of Students

Prevention Programming
The Counseling and Health Center provides alcohol, tobacco and
other substance use prevention programming throughout the academic
year. Our staff is available to assist with class projects,
outreach presentations and as a resource for alcohol, tobacco and
other drug-related topics. Many programs are co-sponsored with
other campus and/or community groups.
