UW-Green Bay

Andrew Austin is Assistant Professor of Social Change and Development and Sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. In addition to teaching courses in criminology and sociology, he directs the Law and Justice Studies emphasis and the department’s internship program. His areas of interests are crime and justice issues, environmental sociology, political sociology, and race and ethnicity. He has published articles and book reviews in encyclopedias, journals,  magazines, and newsletters, as well as having chaired, presented, and had papers read at more than a dozen professional conferences.  Andrew is a consultant on truancy and school climate issues in the Green Bay area. He was honored in 2002 with the Spectrum Award for outstanding scholarship.
