Mark Morrison

Mark Morrison is the Deputy Director of Calumet County Department of Health and Human Services. He has extensive clinical and administrative experience working in human services programs, and is knowledgeable of federal and state program guidelines. He holds a Master's in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and a Master of Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary of Chicago, IL. Mark began his career in 1982 as a therapist working with youth and families in a private non-profit agency in Illinois. During his tenure there, he worked his way up to Clinical Director and then Executive Director of the agency. He is a Wisconsin Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1995, and was the 1994 NASW Social Worker of the Year in the Jane Adams District. Since coming to Wisconsin in 1994 he has provided leadership to county human service programs in 2 counties in northeastern Wisconsin. In his current position as Deputy Director in Calumet County, he is responsible for clinical oversight of long term care, behavioral health and child welfare units. He was recently hired as an Ad Hoc Faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay to train for the Behavioral Health Training Partnership.
