Climate and Weather Data - ISO Topic Category 04
The Data Resource Guide uses Topic Categories established by the International Standards Organization (Bulletion ISO 19115) to catalog public domain data published by federal and state distribution programs. According to the standard, Topic Category 04 is used for data that pertains to "Processes and phenomena of the atmosphere". The following examples are listed in the standard; cloud cover, weather, climate, atmospheric conditions, climate change, precipitation.

Weather Data From The PRISM Archive
The PRISM Climate Group at Oregon State publishes a
variety of high quality weather data. Daily temperature data for 1994-2004 were obtained
from the program in support of Reuben Behnke's work on urban hot spots. All
of our PRISM holdings have the volume prefix "04xARCHIVExPRISM".
