more info.
ArcInfo License Level
ArcGIS for Desktop is licensed at three levels.
UW's Educational Site License includes the most advanced capability (ArcInfo level).
Software Availability At UW-Green Bay
By default, ArcGIS for Desktop is activated
on all lab machines on the campus. Additional installations (faculty offices, grad students, etc) are made
via the CIT work order system (just call the Help Desk - it's fast and painless).
ArcGIS For Desktop - Student Edition
Instructors teaching GIS-related subjects can
obtain copies of Esri software for students who wish to work off the campus network. Availability
of stand-alone software is another benefit of the Educational Site License and the Student Edition
includes the same program modules described above for network installations. Faculty wishing to
obtain this benefit for their students should contact Esri directly.
