8. Lily Lake Park

Rainbow at Lily Lake

General Description

This 150 acre park contains some of the most beautiful scenery in Brown County.  The lake is a favorite spot for local fishermen, but only electric motors are allowed.

Forests adjacent to the lake display outstanding wildflowers during spring, and the park includes one of the area's few remaining tamarack bogs. Because it is surrounded by farmland, the park is a magnet for migratory birds. Flooded fields just past Lily Lake road are often used by Wilson's Phalaropes and other shorebirds during spring migration.

Facilities

Facilities include a boat ramp, a baseball diamond, a public shelter, trails, a picnic area, restrooms, and playground equipment. A resident caretaker lives near the parking area.
