24. Wrightstown County Park

General Description

Wrightstown County Park consists of a boat landing and a narrow (11 acre) strip of land along the Fox River near the town of Wrightstown. The landing provides access to the river just downstream of the Rapide Croche Dam. A short hiking trail extends between an oak-dominated forest and the river. Bald Eagles frequently visit the dam during winter and can occasionally be observed from the park.

Facilities

The park provides a short trail, picnic area, playground equipment, shore fishing, a boat ramp and dockage on the Fox River.


DirectionsRapide Croche Dam.Take Hwy. 57 south of De Pere approximately 6 miles to County Trunk "ZZ" to Wrightstown. Park is on east bank of the Fox River just south of the Village of Wrightstown.
