Fees for Distance Education (Internet) courses will be assessed separate from any regular course tuition.The Plateau does NOT apply to internet courses. See the Fee Information page of this website for more information.
A distance education course is defined as one in which 75 percent or more of the instruction and interaction takes place through a non face-to-face modality. Distance education courses include those that employ correspondence study, or audio, video or computer technologies.
*Distance Education Course Fee - Effective the Fall 2011 semester, a course fee of $20.00 per credit will be assessed for all distance education courses. These funds will be used to (1) cover the costs associated with purchasing and maintaining the software that is used to develop and deliver distance education courses; (2) offset the costs of staffing the University's Help Desk and other student support services; and (3) provide specialized training to faculty and teaching academic staff who develop and deliver distance education courses.
Master of Social Work students pay an additional $100 facility fee.

All students are expected to register and pay fees for the correct credit total and at the appropriate residency status rates (see the Letter of Acceptance).
Any student who enrolls in a course for graduate credit or with a graduate student classification will be required to pay graduate level fees for all credits.
Midwest Student Exchange Program
A special tuition rate given to students residing in states participating in the Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP). For more information contact the Registrar's Office or visit the Midwest Higher Education Compact website at www.MHEC.org
