Certification Examination Requirements

A completed degree in Accounting from UW-Green Bay qualifies you to sit for the C.I.A. and C.M.A. examinations. To sit for the C.P.A. examination, graduates must also satisfy the 150-credit.

Latest CPA Exam Results

UW – Green Bay accounting students performed extremely well on the nationally recognized Certified Public Accountant exam. For the last quarter of 2009 and the first quarter of 2010, UWGB graduates achieved a 65% pass rate on all sections of the CPA exam. National pass rates average approximately 49%.

Candidates for the CPA exam may take up to four parts of the exam over two exam periods. UW – Green Bay’s results ranked second in the state, behind only UW – Madison’s 69% pass rate for Wisconsin schools with at least 50 sections attempted in the last quarter of 2009 and the first quarter of 2010.
