The Associate of Arts and Science Degree
Emphasis: Business Administration
Why the Associate's degree?
Are you a returning adult student that is currently working and concerned about the time necessary to complete the four-year degree? Then consider the Associate's degree with an emphasis in Business Administration. This degree is exactly half of the credits needed to complete the four-year degree. Once the requirements for the Associate’s degree have been completed, you will have an earned degree, in case life situations interrupt your academic progress. So instead of stopping half way in the Business major, you now have an earned degree. You can then continue with the requirements for the four-year Business degree if you so choose.
Returning students often find this to be a great option because it allows them to see the light at the end of the tunnel. If you are working and interested in earning your degree, contact an adviser about the Associate of Arts and Science degree with an emphasis in business.
What courses will I need to take?
To complete the Associate's degree, students need to satisfy all of the general education requirements, required business foundation courses (three), and required Business Administration courses (five).
