Austin E. Cofrin School of Business

What’s unique about the Marketing Emphasis at UW-Green Bay?

DEDICATION. Faculty are committed to serving the needs of business and society and to providing an outstanding learning environment. Excellent teaching and high levels of student participation are valued. Upper-level classes frequently number fewer than 35 students, facilitating discussion and allowing close work with faculty.

PREPARATION. Because Marketing is an emphasis within the Business Administration degree, students graduate as powerful and well-rounded candidates for some great jobs!

INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE. Opportunities are available to meet business professionals and gain practical experience. An active Marketing student organization supports these efforts and helps students to meet others with like interests. Faculty members encourage participation in the internship program, through which students learn while working in real business settings.

APPLICATION. A distinctive feature of the program is that many upper-level courses include a practical project component, offering the opportunity to apply the problem-solving theories and concepts learned in the classroom to real situations. Alumni say these experiences increase their value to employers and set them apart from traditional business program graduates.

HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE. Work on course projects with local organizations such as: Green Bay Packers, City of Green Bay, Schreiber Foods and more!
