Ghadir received her BA in Business and Economics with double minors in Math and Computer Science. She graduated magna cum laude with distinguished honors from Ursinus College in 2005. She earned her Ph.D. education in Business Administration (with a focus on Human Resource Management) from the University of Kansas in 2012.
Ghadir teaches a variety of human resource management (HRM) courses including Intro to HRM and Compensation and Benefits Management. She previously taught advanced HRM and Organizational Behavior.
Ghadir conducts research in areas of interest including human resource management practices and work climate, non-traditional work arrangements, and career management. Much of Ghadir's scholarship focuses on health care service and temporary help supply service settings. Her research has been published in Health Care Management Review, Journal of Healthcare Management and several proceedings, including the Best Paper Proceedings of the Academy of Management. She frequently presents her research in international and regional conferences including The Academy of Management Meeting, Southern Management Association, and Midwest Academy of Management.
In terms of service, Ghadir is the new faculty advisor for SHRM – UWGB chapter. She serves as a reviewer for AoM & SMA annual meetings, and the Academy of Management Learning and Education Journal. Currently, she is affiliated with Health Care, Human Resource Management, and Career divisions in the Academy of Management, Association on Employment Practices and Principles, and The Global Association for Strategic Talent Management.
